2018 Improving Veterans Care Conference

Yankton Rural AHEC, in coordination with the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, is pleased to announce the 2018 Improving Veterans Care Conference to be held in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 11, 2018. This one-day conference will be held from approximately 9am-4:30pm at the University Center in Sioux Falls. This year’s topics include Military Sexual Trauma, Suicide Prevention, and Opioid Addiction.

 This conference is of interest to clinicians involved in the care and support of veterans/service members and/or their families. It is recommended for Psychologists, Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists, Social Workers, Addiction & Prevention Professionals, clinicians, educators and others.

 Registration is now open for the 2018 Improving Veterans Care Conference. Please complete a separate registration form for each individual in attendance. Cost for attendance is as follows until April 30, 2018: $75 for VA employees and $85 for non-VA employees. On May 1, 2018, all registrations will be $125. Registration Yankton Rural AHEC will have conference materials available for printing approximately two weeks prior to the event.
